Area #5: The Gold Coast
Along the Southeastern coast of Cape Coral, is a stretch called The Gold Coast. This stretch is between the two main Cape Coral bridges. There are named areas, like fingers that stretch between Del Prado Blvd and the River. Each "finger" has streets that branch off if it, and there's generally only one way in or out. All the waterfront is direct sailboat or high-off-the-water boat access.
There are 6 main, marked street entrances to these named areas: 1-Orchid Parkway, 2-Beach Parkway (lots of condos and leads to Jaycee Park), 3-Savona Parkway, 4-Palaco Grande Parkway, 5-Cornwallis Parkway and 6-Everest Parkway.
Most of the original houses built here were in the mid-1970's to mid-1980's. These houses were upper scale for their time, because of the great water access of The Gold Coast.
Today, any vacant lots are being gobbled up, either for investment or for larger custom residences. This also has escalated the price ranges for the other houses as well...
The "Gold Coast" is located along the Southeastern shore of Cape Coral, between the bridges...
